RISING TIDE: MANHATTAN is a project that combines a powerful video and a map to showcase the effects of rising sea levels. The aim is to raise awareness about the crisis and the urgent need for action. We have integrated design with essential climate crisis information to provide viewers with a better understanding of the situation. Our data visualization is sourced from Climate Central's 2021 IPCC report, which is the global standard for climate change analysis. By highlighting the areas affected by the rise in sea level, our project informs viewers about the real threats that Manhattan faces.
