Girl Dinner is a project based on the recent horror films featuring female cannibals. Which cleverly exploits society's taboo fascination, using cannibalism to underscore the exaggerated and unfounded fear of female sexual liberation. It symbolizes society's irrational fear of women gaining empowerment and autonomy by embracing their sexuality. With this I aim to show that the Horror genre serves as an effective vehicle for societal and political commentary, dispelling the notion of malicious intent and instead offering a platform for insightful discussions on gender, power dynamics, and cultural norms.
